Laura Blinson

Laura Blinson is the Health Innovation Scientist for Oracle Health Innovation and Scientific Advisory, and responsible for leading the Future of Workforce pillar. Laura joined Oracle Health Innovation in 2022 as a Health Innovation Scientist and leveraged her years of experience in clinical research as a subject matter expert in clinical trials. Additionally, she managed the team operations and tools to streamline processes and ensure the team was operating efficiently. Prior to joining Oracle, Laura spent 3 years at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Initially she worked clinically as an athletic trainer at local contracted high schools, providing medical coverage and clinical care at the sideline. She then transitioned to working in clinical research and worked as a project manager in Infectious Diseases. While a project manager, she served as the primary regulatory coordinator for 10 sites and acted as a liaison for participating healthcare systems to IRB of record for a multi-site national COVID-19 research study. Additionally, she managed study startup for an IND application for a Phase 1 clinical trial. Laura received her BA in Exercise and Sports Science – concentration in Athletic Training degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
