Jim Young

James Young currently serves as Director of the Data Center division for Enterprise Solutions at CommScope, overseeing the strategy and providing leadership to technical and sales teams worldwide. Previously, James has led positions involving roles such as sales, marketing and operations for communication solutions, working with Tyco Electronics / AMP Netconnect, Anixter, Canadian Pacific and TTS in Canada. James has acquired extensive experience in the sale of OEM products, network solutions and value-added services through sales environments of direct and indirect channels. His sales experience includes electronic transmission components, telephony systems, network systems, LAN infrastructure products and fiber transmission system products. James has accumulated extensive experience in OEM marketing and channels, as well as network operations as an assistant director at CP’s Computers and Communications Group. James graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario. He is Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) and a certified data center design professional (CDCP).
