Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith is a technology executive and strategist with over 30 years of experience leading innovation at the intersection of edge computing, AI, and IoT. As Head of Product at Acorn Oak Strategy, Jamie advises deep tech companies on go-to-market strategy, product development, and scalable architecture—particularly in mission-critical and real-time systems. Jamie previously led global initiatives at National Instruments (now Emerson), where he helped launch the company’s Industrial IoT Lab and drove partnerships with Microsoft, Siemens, and other ecosystem leaders.
