Practical tips to realize benefit from implementing IIoT/Digitalization
Session Abstract:
This keynote will offer tips for how to realize real business benefit from IIoT/Digitalization projects. The session will cover how to assure that the benefit is not limited to “islands”, but is scalable, and available to benefit the wider organization. The critical subject of cyber security will be considered.
Speakers:
Dave Eifert is the Senior Business Development Manager – IIoT for Phoenix Contact USA. Prior to accepting this role, he was the Industry Manager for Water Resource Management at Phoenix Contact. Earlier in his career he served in various business development, marketing and technical sales roles for various leading companies. Dave received a BS in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management from Clarkson University. He currently resides in Cleveland Ohio, and when not working enjoys playing guitar and singing, road and mountain biking, traveling, writing, and hanging out with his wife and two adult children.
Don Dickinson has 38 years of sales, marketing, and product application experience in Industrial Automation, involving a wide range of products and technologies in various industry segments. He is a graduate of NC State University (B.S. Electrical Engineering). In his current role, Don is the Senior Business Development Manager for the Water Sector, Phoenix Contact USA, and an advocate of smarter and ultimately, sustainable water infrastructure. Don is a “Value of Water” evangelist, a Distinguished Toastmaster, and all-things-music enthusiast.
