Panel Session – Intersection of Healthcare, AI, and IoT for Curative Outcomes

Panel Abstract:

Artificial Intelligence at the intersection of IoT – and how it will impact healthcare and life-sciences sectors. The IoT Community predict that by 2020, sophisticated, machine learning and AI algorithms will play a significant role in healthcare / life sciences, resulting in transformation of the way providers organize patient pathways and / or treatment plans, providing medical practitioners with invaluable information needed to make better informed decisions, leading to better patient outcomes. In this panel session, with the experts from Zebra Technology, Exostar, T-Systems and SAS, you will get actionable insights to open new pathways to Healthcare excellence.

The panel will discuss the following how IoT and AI in healthcare is enabling:

  • Transformation of mining medical records: Collecting data, storing it, normalizing it, tracing its lineage and actioning it
  • Enhancing Treatment Plans: Analyzing meaning and context of structured / unstructured data in clinical notes that may be critical to selecting a treatment pathways
  • Advanced precision medicine: Identifying patterns in data sets of genetic information and medical records, looking for mutations and linkages to disease.
  • New drug creation – Streamlining processes to root out therapies from a database of molecular structures to combat diseases

The panellists will be available to answer questions from the audience before we conclude the session. We will share our experience and thoughts to support you in current and future IoT initiatives. Bring your questions.
