Panel Discussion – Are you aware and ready for the challenges around Security, Trust, and Privacy in IoT?

Security, trust, and privacy have been and should be every enterprise executive’s top-of-mind now than ever before because of the impact of Internet of Things (IoT) becoming the “Internet of Everything” in our world. There will be 20+ billion connected things to be deployed by 2020; and, according to Gartner, Worldwide IoT Security spending will reach $1.5 Billion in 2018, and will be expected to reach $3.1 billion in 2021.In this panel session, with the experts from Rignet, IBM, IOT World Labs, and Spirent, you will get actionable insights to see and address the security, trust and privacy challenges in IoT.

The panel will discuss the following points:

  • What’s the difference between IT Security vs IoT Security?
  • What are the current highest risk areas in the IoT ecosystem?
  • How are security, trust, and privacy IoT issues addressed differently (or not) across industries?
  • How to answer the Return on Security Investment (RoSI) in IoT questions?

The panellists will be available to answer questions from the audience before we conclude the session. We will share our experience and thoughts to support you in current and future IoT initiatives. Bring your questions.
