How IoT Enables Real-time Six Sigma for Manufacturing

Session Abstract:

Manufacturing companies face many pressures for production output, particularly in a precarious supply chain environment. While lean six-sigma principles have long been part of industry standards, the root-cause analysis is often done weeks after the fact. In order to improve production now, operations managers need visibility now into the constraints so that improvements can be made immediately. Link Labs’ is using IoT edge-to-cloud asset tracking to help Fortune100 companies improve their ability to make real-time decisions and increase productivity. In this session, we will explore how manufacturing companies are::

Utilizing real-time IoT to identify and solve immediate production constraints
Accelerating root cause analysis from weeks to minutes
Increasing production throughput with on-floor real-time analytics for operators and managers

Join this keynote as Bob Proctor, CEO of Link Labs, explores the need for visibility at all levels of production, why accuracy matters to that real-time visibility, and how the addition of advanced visibility and predictive analytics for WIP tracking delivers more efficient manufacturing.
