Krishna Iyer

Krishna Iyer is a global technology executive with over 25 years of experience spanning telecommunications, digital transformation, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and enterprise innovation. As Vice President and Global CTO of GlobalLogic’s Telecom Business – a Hitachi Group Company- he leads technology strategy, client engagement, and the design of next-generation digital solutions that elevate customer experience and deliver measurable business outcomes for communications service providers worldwide. Prior to GlobalLogic, Krishna held senior leadership roles at Verizon and Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, now Nokia. At Verizon, he served as Senior Director of Product Innovation and Automation, driving large-scale transformation programs, enterprise automation initiatives, and AI/ML-powered analytics across automotive, IoT, and 4G/5G telecommunications domains with sustained impact on performance improvement and cost optimization. Krishna has been a consistent voice in shaping the global communications ecosystem. He served eight years on the Board of Directors of the Global Certification Forum, the GSMA’s certification body representing Verizon, and contributed to foundational standards work at 3GPP and GSMA. Today, he actively represents GlobalLogic at TM Forum, the AI-RAN Alliance, the prpl Foundation, and the RDK Syndicate, reinforcing the company’s position as an industry thought leader and innovation partner. Earlier in his career at Lucent Bell Labs, Krishna contributed to next-generation network deployments including First Office Application rollouts and wirleine programs while supporting foundational research and development in 3G and 4G that helped define modern  communications infrastructure. Known for translating deep technical expertise into strategic business advantage, Krishna has built high-impact partnerships across communications service providers, network equipment manufacturers, and emerging startup ecosystems. He holds more than 20 patents and brings a rare combination of engineering rigor and commercial leadership, underpinned by a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. Krishna continues to drive GlobalLogic’s growth at the forefront of digital innovation, engineering excellence, and industry transformation across the global communications sector.
