This final session will summarize key takeaways from the day, reinforce the strategic themes that emerged across the agenda, and outline next steps for continued engagement across the IoT Community ecosystem.

Speakers:

Scott Nash is the Sr. Director of Sales for Vehicles in the Verizon Business Group. He is responsible for Verizon’s business activity with auto OEMs, commercial trucks, micro delivery solutions, autonomous vehicles, and robots. He works closely with partners and product leads to develop connected solutions for customers, covering everything from telematics connectivity for the vehicle to its interaction with the entire connected ecosystem. He oversees all business development, commercial modeling, and cross-functional efforts for Verizon’s connected vehicle activities across multiple industries and business sectors. His responsibilities also include providing a world class customer experience, driving financial performance and ensuring operational excellence. Scott is a proven leader with a 20-year track record of business sales and management success. In addition, Scott is actively involved in charities . He currently sits on the board for MN Tech For Success which helps provide computers for underserved communities, the Board of Consumer Technology Association-Vehicle division and previously supported the prevention of domestic violence by serving on the Board of Cornerstone for four years. Scott started his career with Lowrance Electronics, focused on introducing GPS navigation solutions to the outdoor-sports community. In 1997 he moved over to the wireless industry as a business account executive. He worked his way up through different sales positions until moving into business sales management. In 2008 he was promoted to the Director of Business Sales for the Great Plains Region. In 2012 he moved over to the
national enterprise team taking responsibility for the manufacturing vertical. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the St Thomas Opus School of Business and is certified in lean six sigma.

His work is focused on bringing the right stakeholders together, aligning technology narratives with business outcomes, and helping organizations frame emerging technologies in ways that matter to customers, partners, and the broader market. Across his work, Kevin is recognized for connecting strategy, ecosystem development, brand positioning, and community-led growth to help accelerate adoption, collaboration, and market understanding across IoT, edge, AI, cloud, GenAIoT, and connected enterprise innovation.
