Putting IoT PaaS into Action to Save Lives
This session will present a live demonstration across continents to show how IoT is now mainstream and we are applying “lessons learned” from the elite IoT Community for the last three years. The solution will show a variety of IoT sensors as the front-end working with Android and iOS apps connected to Amazon and Azure public clouds end to end. In a world where data centers are without walls, and now networks are without perimeters, it is hard to trust anything without continuously authenticating every smart thing. So, the IoT platforms as a service, i.e, IoT PaaS, being built, are combining geo-spatial situational awareness with a best-in-class IoT sensors and device agnostic integration techniques for mission-critical use cases like 911 alerts, first-responder notifications and real-world scenarios. This session will illustrate and validate how IoT is being put into action to save lives, rescue squads and evacuate crowds in emergency situations using IoT sensors and beacons for communication via 5G and radio, and using 3D visualization and 4D playback capability for tracking, zooming and pinpointing locations with precisions beyond Google and Bing maps.
