Session Abstract:

SASAs the manufacturing industry experiences rapid technological advancements and global events, it has become more important than ever for manufacturers to transform their operations, reduce costs, improve efficiency and sustainability. This session will explore how digitalization, IIoT data, AI, and digital twins are enabling manufacturers to achieve these goals and drive change in the industry.

It doesn’t only take the right technology to generate substantial value in manufacturing operations, the right processes and organization are equally important to scale successfully. Attendees will hear best practices based on successful customer projects.

Speaker:

Alexander Daehne is a Principal Industry Consultant heading the EMEA Manufacturing customer experience activities at SAS and provides thought leadership and expertise of deploying analytical solutions to improve quality, reliability and sustainability. He helps customers to define their digital roadmap, generate value and achieve improved business performance from advanced analytics and AI. He is speaking & promoting SAS’ capabilities at local and international conferences and providing input towards the future direction of SAS’ manufacturing solutions. Prior to working at SAS, Daehne lead the automotive team at Atos in Germany, bringing in over 30 years of experience in operations, supply chain and service management. Daehne graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1991.
