Olaf Herr

Olaf Herr was leading the global product management activities for Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions. The company designs, develops and markets innovative connected devices and tailor-made solutions for the Internet of Things. He has more than 15 years of experience in Product Marketing & Management in various roles and is an experienced speaker at conferences and events. Prior to joining Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions, Olaf was Product Management Director at JDSU – a leading test and measurement company in the telecom industry. Earlier in his career he was working with Lucent Technologies (today Nokia / Alcatel-Lucent). Olaf Herr holds an MBA of the Friedrich-Alexander university in Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.

Advisory Board

The function of the IoT Community, is to focus on the adoption & application of IoT in commercial environments, seeking to understand & contribute to applying the technology or overcoming the wide variety of barriers, inhibitors, and technical & operational issues. As a member of the board, Olaf will provide impartial input and guidance to the overall vision, strategy and execution that is helping to shape the current and future direction for the IoT Community, as well as the broader IoT industry.
